Shape high-quality print in Gilberts, IL

Based in Gilberts, IL 60136, you’ll be the person who turns approved artwork into flawless printed pieces. From powering up the press to the final inspection, you’ll keep production moving, color consistent, and quality uncompromised in a fast-paced environment.

Kick off by reviewing project specs with the design team. Set up the appropriate press for the job—digital, web offset, or inkjet—dialing in color and registration. Throughout the run, you’ll monitor output, fine-tune as needed, and handle routine maintenance to keep equipment humming. You’ll finish by inspecting the work, documenting production details, and resetting the area so the next job starts strong.

• Set up and operate multiple types of printing equipment to achieve top-tier results.
• Track color and design integrity during runs, adjusting for accuracy and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot printing machinery issues.
• Partner with the design team to clarify specifications and production requirements.
• Inspect finished pieces and make corrective adjustments when necessary.
• Keep the press area orderly and safe, following all safety protocols.
• Record production runs and material usage with precision.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus.
• Previous experience as a printer/press operator or similar role preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working to tight deadlines.
• Hands-on familiarity with diverse printing methods and equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and solid problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and strong teamwork mindset.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
