Project Coordinator - Data Center Project

Location: Hamlet, NC (Data Center Project)
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Schedule: Remote/Hybrid
Start Date: November 2 (Estimated)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support large-scale data center projects involving security systems, access control, CCTV, and structured cabling infrastructure. This role will work closely with project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and properly documented.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting construction, low-voltage, structured cabling, security integration, or data center projects. This position offers flexibility through a remote/hybrid work arrangement while supporting an active project site in Hamlet, NC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, and daily activities
• Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
• Support Project Managers with planning, execution, and project reporting
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and records
• Coordinate onboarding and scheduling for technicians and subcontractors
• Communicate project updates with clients, vendors, and field personnel
• Process and organize change orders, purchase orders, and project-related documentation
• Track labor hours, material deliveries, and project progress
• Assist in preparing project status reports and client communications
• Support field operations to help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, construction administration, or project support roles
• Experience supporting low-voltage, structured cabling, security, access control, CCTV, or data center projects preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience using project management software is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
